Terry Dewayne MCCORMICK

Smartt Station Community resident and Warren County native Terry Dewayne McCormick, age 43, was born June 6, 1968 and died May 25, 2012 at River Park Hospital following injuries sustained in an automobile accident. An excavation equipment operator and member of the Assembly of God, he was the son of Richard and Mariecha Bates McCormick of McMinnville. He was married to Tonya Lance McCormick of the Smartt Station Community. In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by one daughter, Takeisha McCormick of McMinnville; son, Keith McCormick of the Smartt Station Community; granddaughter, Peyton Bandy of McMinnville; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Gary and Linda McCormick and Jerry and Verna McCormick both of McMinnville and Barry "Timmy" and Virginia McCormick of Spencer, TN; six sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Mike Johnson of Murfreesboro, TN, Debra Kester and Connie and Dale Delong both of Rock Island, TN and Wanda McCormick, Melissa and Randy Smith and Tamisha Fults all of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 27, 2012 in High's Chapel with Sammy Lee officiating. Burial followed in the Whitlock Cemetery.
