Patricia Jean MUNCEY

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Patricia Jean Muncey, age 61, was born June 1, 1951 and died July 9, 2012 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness. An employee of Pit Stop Market and member of the Faith Chapel Fellowship Church, she was the daughter of the late Harlie Spencer and Treva Jean Grissom Parker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard Stephen Parker and James Sidney Smartt and grandson, Sedric Phelan Simmons. She was married March 24, 2000 to Timmy Eugene Muncey of McMinnville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Rita Jean and Danny Payton of Chattanooga, TN and Crystal Gail Muncey of McMinnville; two sons and daughter-in-law, James and Joyce Simmons and Timmy Gooch both of McMinnville; thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild; two sisters, Sheila Parker Myers of Manchester, TN and Cathy Parker Trisler of McMinnville; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins and special friend, Becky Dye. Funeral service was held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, July 12, 2012 in High's Chapel with Greg Sweeton officiating. Burial followed in the Smyrna Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
