Sarah Frances Grissom ROGERS

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Sarah Frances Grissom Rogers, age 78, was born June 1, 1934 and died June 22, 2012 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN following a sudden illness. A retired employee of Rockford Textile Company and member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Ben Clifton and Louella Scott Grissom. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Clifton Grissom; husband, Everett "Frog" Rogers and grandson, Skylar Odineal. She is survived by three daughters, Barbara Rogers, Annette (John) Dodson and Sandra Odineal all of McMinnville; brother, Elbert Lee (Mae) Grissom of McMinnville; four grandchildren, Chad Rogers, Justin Odineal, Dakota Odineal and Austin Odineal; four great-grandchildren; nephew, Terry Grissom and nieces, Sharon Reed and Dawn Grissom. Funeral service was held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, June 25, 2012 in High's Chapel with Titus Ward officiating. Burial followed in the Bascom Cemetery.
