Jerry Lynn SIMMONS

Morrison, TN resident and Warren County native Jerry Lynn Simmons, age 47, was born December 23, 1964 and died March 11, 2012 at River Park Hospital following a sudden illness. An employee of Mike's Tree Service, he was the son of Carroll Lynn "Chunky" and Martha Cox Simmons of McMinnville. He was married August 9, 1986 to Rhonda Stair Simmons of Morrison, TN. In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by two sons, Allyn (Crystal) Hodges of Knoxville, TN and Andrew Simmons of Morrison, TN; daughter, Amanda Simmons of Morrison, TN and three grandchildren, Dominic Hodges, Allyssa Hodges and Kailynn Walker. Funeral service was held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2012 in High's Chapel with Gary Stair officiating. Burial followed in Grange Hall Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
