Mamie Magdalean WISER

March 3, 1917 — February 1, 2012

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Mamie Magdalean Wiser, age 94, was born March 3, 1917 and died February 1, 2012 at Raintree Manor Nursing Home following an extended illness. A retired employee of Formfit Rogers and member of the McMinnville First Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Mary Ellen Shirley Reynolds. She was married May 3, 1941 to John Wilson Wiser who preceded her in death May 12, 1986. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Jerry Wayne Wiser; two sisters, Georgia Northcutt and Anna Lee Young and half-brother, Grady Reynolds. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Larry Sharpe of McMinnville; son, Darrell Wiser of McMinnville; two grandchildren and their spouses, Steven and April Sharpe of Knoxville, TN and Stefanie and Justin McFall of Okinawa, Japan; four great-grandchildren, Jackson, Preston and Hudson Sharpe all of Knoxville, TN and Jocelyn McFall of Okinawa, Japan; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 4, 2012 in High's Chapel with John May officaiting. Burial followed in the Mt. View Cemetery.
