Richard Frank WISNIEWSKI

McMinnville resident and Pittsburgh, PA native, Richard Frank Wisniewski, age 71, was born January 12, 1941 and died June 25, 2012 at his residence following an extended illness. A United States Marine Corps and Army veteran of Vietnam and Desert Storm where he was a First Sergeant Medic, he was the son of the late Matthew Frank and Sally Dietz Wisniewski. He was married to Diane Cutts Wisniewski of McMinnville on September 29, 1978. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Danielle and Jeff Delape, Diana Brown Greg and Kathy and Jody McCoin all of Cincinnati, OH; son, Michael Wisniewski of Cincinnati, OH; step-son, Eric Walker and wife Mary of McMinnville; two grandchildren, Raven Walker and Hunter Walker; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Diane and Kelly Linderimer of West Virginia, Nancy and Skip Smith of Texas and Pat and Charlie Pendock of Pittsburgh, PA and eight grandchildren. A graveside and interment was held 11:30 a.m. Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Gath Cemetery with full military honors administered by VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VFW Post 5064 Building Fund.
