Michael Terry DIXON

McMinnville resident and Ft. Stewart, GA native Michael Terry Dixon, age 57, was born February 23, 1955 and died August 8, 2012 at his residence following a sudden illness. A heavy equipment operator, he was the son of the late Willie W. and Catherine Kimbrell Dixon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, David Dixon. He was married to Dedria Libby Dixon of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Matthew (Brandi) Dixon of Waynesville, GA and Brian Smack of Hilliard, FL; daughter, Brittany (Matt) Brown of McMinnville; five grandchildren, Caleb Dixon, Evan Dixon, Reece Dixon, Lance Smack and Gracie Lynn Brown; brother, Larry (Linda) Dixon of Callahan, FL; sister, Susan Dixon of Callahan, FL and Cathy Lewis of Nahunta, GA and brothers, Bobby Dixon of Nahunta, GA and Rocky Dixon of Waynesville, GA. Funeral service was held Saturday, August 11, 2012 in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel in Blackshear, Georgia. Burial followed in the Enon Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
