Athelia Olanda Christian HERRIN

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Athelia Olanda Christian Herrin, age 77, was born September 17, 1934 and died July 28, 2012 at NHC Healthcare McMinnville following an extended illness. A longtime employee of Rockford Textile and caregiver at Kay's Boarding Home, she was the daughter of the late Herve and Vera Parks Christian. She was married to Frank Herrin who preceded her in death September 17, 2006. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Lyda Kate Killian. She is survived by five children and their spouses, Theresa and David Hill, Mary and Tony Wanamaker, Dennis Herrin and Stephen "Bubba" Herrin all of McMinnville and Darlene and Charles Arnold of Smithville, TN; grandchildren, Elizabeth Hill (Jordan) Powers, Catherine Hill, Tyler Wanamaker and Makayla Wanamaker; brother, George Bradley Christian of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 31, 2012 in High's Chapel with Rickey Minton officiating. Burial followed in the Hills Creek Cemetery.
