Ruth Ann Goerndt MCGUIRE

Spencer, TN resident and Painesville, OH native Ruth Ann Goerndt McGuire, age 73, was born November 1, 1938 and died August 4, 2012 at SkyRidge Medical Center in Cleveland, TN following a sudden illness. A homemaker and member of the Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Dorothy Mae Thiede Goerndt. She was married to Ray Cooper McGuire who preceded her in death November 4, 1998. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Lou Goerndt and brother, Robert "Bob" Goerndt. She is survived by one sister, Jean Carol Dodson of McDonald, TN; sister-in-law, Ruth E. McGuire of McMinnville; sister-in-law, Ann Goerndt of Eastlake, OH and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 7, 2012 in High's Chapel. Burial followed in the Long Cemetery in Van Buren County, TN.
