Maxine SAVAGE

Huntsville, AL resident (formerly of McMinnville) and Warren County native Maxine Savage, age 89, was born September 6, 1922 and died August 16, 2012 at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, AL following an extended illness. A retired beautician with Pat's Beauty Shop and member of the Central Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Frank Davis and Isabell Jones Warren. She was married June 9, 1945 to John James Savage, Jr. who preceded her in death January 18, 2005. In addition her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Georgia Sanders. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Dick and Jean Savage and Jim and Joyce Savage both of Huntsville, AL; four grandchildren, Derrick Savage, David Savage, Kristi MacDonald and Jennifer Savage; five great-grandchildren, Jessica Savage, Sydney Savage, Bradley Savage, William MacDonald and Kimberly MacDonald; two sisters, Frankie Hendrix of McMinnville and Jean Pearsall of Nashville, TN and several nieces, nephews and cousins. A graveside service was held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Gardens of Memory with Julian Goodpaster officiating.
