McMinnville resident and Warren County native Ruby Margaret "Margie" Mullican Barnes, age 93, was born November 6, 1918 and died September 5, 2012 at her residence following an extended illness. A retired employee of Colonial Corporation Shirt Factory and member of the Earlyville Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Lee Roy and Nona Elizabeth Lance Mullican. She was married August 26, 1934 to Oscar Clarence Barnes who preceded her in death July 17, 2004. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three children, Coleen, Evelyn and Wayne Barnes and four brothers, Grady, Cloy, Cecil and Clyde Mullican. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Eva and Gerald Wiseman of McMinnville; son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Mary Barnes of Manchester, TN; two granddaughters, Geraline Powers and husband Kurt of Rock Island, TN and Sharon Boothe and husband Randy of Columbia, TN; two great-grandchildren, David Powers and Leah Powers both of Cookeville, TN; three step-grandchildren, three step-great-grandchildren, two step-great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, September 7, 2012 in High's Chapel with Ray Robinson and Johnny Lance officiating. Burial followed in the Centertown Cemetery.
