Joyce Virginia BOYD

Rock Island, TN resident and Van Buren County, TN native Joyce Virginia Boyd, age 77, was born July 8, 1935 and died September 18, 2012 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN following an extended illness. A seamstress and member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Roscoe and Lillie Marie Williams Boyd. She is survived by three sisters and brothers-in-law, Arlene and Leon Ware and Carolyn and Jim Powers both of Rock Island, TN and Lemma and Lloyd Grissom of Tullahoma, TN; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Pat Boyd and Robert and Sarah Boyd both of Chattanooga, TN and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 21, 2012 in High's Chapel with Vernon Joines officiating. Burial followed in the White Hill Cemetery in Van Buren County, TN.
