Elizabeth Agnes Lizzie NEAL

McMinnville resident and DeKalb County, TN native Elizabeth Agnes "Lizzie" Neal, age 93, was born September 9, 1919 and died September 13, 2012 at Raintree Manor Nursing Home following an extended illness. A retired employee of Levi Straus and member of the McMinnville Cumberland Presbyterian Church, she was the daughter of the late James Henry and Sarah Elizabeth Knowles Certain. She was married to Luther Neal who preceded her in death March 8, 1999. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Jerry Lynn Young. She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Delbert and Phyllis Young of Freeport, FL, Dennis and Carolyn Young of McMinnville and Terry and Faye Young of Rock Island, TN; seven grandchildren, Tracey Williams, Bud Young, Alan Young, Brad Young, Michelle Pence, Tara Dechard and Alecia Willis; ten great-grandchildren, Mitchell Young, Austin Young, Ryan Young, Shelbi Young, Ali Young, Reed Williams, Andrew Young, Bryana Young, Camo Harris and Allison Harris and two special friends, Yalta Dunlap and Carolyn Joy Taylor. Funeral service was held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 16, 2012 in High's Chapel with Daryl Alhart and J.E. Sandlin officiating. Burial followed in the Banks Cemetery in DeKalb County, TN.
