Charles Edgar STUBBLEFIELD

Morrison, TN resident and Viola, TN native Charles Edgar Stubblefield, age 81, was born December 8, 1930 and died September 28, 2012 at Raintree Manor Nursing Home following a brief illness. A retired Master Electrician with AEDC, United States Navy veteran of Korea, charter member of Morrison Ruritan Club and member of the Morrison Church of Christ, he was the son of the late James Cortelyou and Addie Jacobs Stubblefield. Mr. Stubblefield loved aeronautics and aviation. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Martha Stubblefield Jacobs. He was married to Bertie Beasley Stubblefield of Morrison, TN. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Julia Stubblefield and Steve and Terry Stubblefield both of Morrison, TN; two grandchildren, Cole and Colin Stubblefield both of Morrison, TN and several cousins. Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 30, 2012 in High's Chapel with Roger Comstock officiating. Burial followed in the Morrison Cemetery.
