Roy Thomas Weddington

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Roy Thomas Weddington, age 52, was born May 29, 1960 and died September 30, 2012. An employee of S.P.W. in Woodbury, TN, he was the son of Hazel Wilcher of McMinnville and the late R.L. Weddington. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Veleaka Covino. He was married to Alicea Bell Weddington of McMinnville. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by two children, Roy Thomas Weddington, Jr. of Murfreesboro, TN and Savannah Bell of McMinnville; four grandchildren, Brooke and Bradley Covino of Florida, Thomas Incee Weddington of Murfreesboro, TN and Camden Siebers of McMinnville; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Steve Jennings of McMinnville; niece, Natalie Pettrey of McMinnville; great-niece, Kealey Caldwell of McMinnville; 2 great-nephews, Peyton Pettrey and William Chance Parker; mother-in-law, Betty Sain of McMinnville; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ronnie and Tammy Parker and Kirk and Tonya Mullican both of Morrison, TN and Jeff and Carey Chandler of McMinnville and nieces and nephews, Will and Andrea Parker of Franklin, TN, Clay Parker, Nola Mullican and Emma Mullican all of Morrison, TN and Logan Chandler and Chelsey Chandler both of McMinnville. Visitation and memorial service will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 11, 2012 at High's. Ray Weddington will officiate the memorial service.
