Clara McMahan McAfee

Morrison, TN resident and Coffee County, TN native Clara McMahan McAfee, age 99, was born July 2, 1913 and died October 14, 2012 at Raintree Manor following a brief illness. A homemaker and a member of Morrison Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late John W. and Zora Ann Dodd McMahan. She was married to Bernard L. McAfee who preceded her in death March 2, 2008. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Barbara McAfee of Morrison, TN and Rod McAfee and Margie Anderson of Morrison, TN; eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mildred Prater of Morrison, TN and Pauline Light of Muncie, IN; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2012 in High's Chapel with Ken Willis officiating. Burial will follow in Morrison Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday and from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday.
