Caitlin Sierra Talley

McMinnville resident and Rutherford County native Caitlin Sierra Talley, age 17, was born July 11, 1995 and died October 19, 2012 at River Park Hospital following injuries sustained in an automobile accident. A Senior at Warren County High School and employee of McDonald's, she was the daughter of Tara Alford and Chuck Talley both of McMinnville. Caitlin was a member of the 2012 Warren County High School Senior Homecoming Court. Her future plans were to join the United States Navy where she would become a nurse. She attended Oasis and Covenant Fellowship Church. She was preceded in death by her paternal great-grandparents, Jim and Lela Mai Malone and Robert and Thelma Talley. In additon to her parents, she is survived by sister, Carigan and brother, Caden; maternal grandparents, Shelia and Loyd Duncan of Tullahoma, TN; paternal grandparents, Charles and Sepal Talley of McMinnville; maternal great-grandparents, Bobby and Shirley Alford McBride of McMinnville; maternal great-grandfather, Wayne Alford of Manchester, TN and special aunt and uncle, Charlise and Brian Madewell of McMinnville. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at Covenant Fellowship Church with Steve Breedlove and Dean Northcutt officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monday and 9:00 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at Covenant Fellowship Church, 7225 Manchester Highway, Morrison, TN 37357. All visitation will be held at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to a scholarship fund in memory of Caitlin to be given to a graduating senior from the Warren County High School class of 2013 c/o High's.
