Faye Pelham

McMinnville, TN resident and Cleveland, TN native Violet Faye Pelham, age 79, was born August 30, 1933 and died November 2, 2012 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN following a brief illness. A retired employee of Aqua-Tech and member of the Christian Fellowship Church, she was the daughter of the late Jessie and Pearl Picklesimer Staton and was married February 10, 1968 to Levi Pelham, Jr. who preceded her in death January 9, 1986. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by brothers, Gene, Raymond, Martin, Paul and Calvin Staton and sisters, Wanda May, Mildred Staton and Agnes Beaty. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Irene & Jerry Hester, McMinnville, TN; special adopted daughter, Kathleen Chaney and husband, Hughes of Ringgold, VA; three brothers, Douglas (Brenda) Staton, Cleveland, TN; Bennie (Cheryl) Staton, Rossville, GA and Ralph (Jo) Staton, Cleveland, TN; special sister-in-law, Jewel Staton, McMinnville, TN; several nieces, nephews and cousins and special friends, Nickie Anderson and Kimberly Brady of McMinnville, TN. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday November 5, 2012 in High's Chapel with Danny Sullivan and Jarvis Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Bascom Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service on Monday.
