Virginia Louise Woodard

Virginia Louise Woodard, age 85, McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native, was born April 4, 1927 and died November 5, 2012 at her residence following a lingering illness. A retired self-employed caterer and a member of East End Drive Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Doris and Sally Locke Ramsey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Smith and Dorothy McGee; and one brother, James Russell Ramsey. She is survived by two sons, Tommy Woodard of Springfield, TN and Charles Woodard of Lebanon, TN; one daughter, Cynthia Grizzard of Nashville, TN; six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; four sisters, Nannie Belle Martin, Mary E. Cope and Linda Butts all of McMinnville and Johnnie R. Blevins of Detroit, MI; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 10, 2012 in High's Chapel with Phillip Smith, Lee White and George King officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service Saturday at High's.
