Lillie Mae Scott

Lillie Mae Scott, age 86, a McMinnville, TN resident and Grundy Co.,TN native was born September 14, 1926 and died November 8, 2012 following an extended illness. A retired employee of McMinnville Garment Company and member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Perry and Hassie Campbell Myers. She was married to Henry Scott who preceded her in death April 3, 1997. She was also preceded in death by daughter, Arlene Scott Weddington; three sisters, Minnie Scott, Della Basham and Lydia Hobbs and three brothers, Luther, Lois and Dillard Myers. Mrs. Scott is survived by daughter, Etta Stafford of McMinnville, TN; two goddaughters, Sherry Steakley and Pattie Sue Jacobs of McMinnville; grandchildren, Carl Lynn Weddington and Paulette (Danny) Nichols of McMinnville, TN; four great-grandchildren, Leah (Josh) Gibbs, Marc Tittsworth, Kody McBride and Jacob Weddington; two great-great-grandchildren, Braxton Gibbs and Kennedy Gibbs; sister, Tennie Northcutt of McMinnville, TN and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday, November 10, 2012 in High's Chapel with R.S. Rigney officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday and from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of service.
