Landy "Bear" Paul Matney

Landy Paul "Bear" Matney, 35, a Winchester, TN resident and Warren Co., TN native was born December 31, 1976 and died November 20, 2012. He was a construction worker and member of the First Assembly of God Church. He was married June 18, 2007 to Lonna Sue Hale Matney who survives. He was the son of Sharon Lanita Grissom Walling and Sidney Paul Matney, and was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Landy & Shirley Grissom. He is survived by children, Ramsey Mikkael Hale, Liam Landy Paul Matney and Sydney Lorrabelle Matney all of Winchester, TN; parents, Lanita and Tom Walling of Bone Cave, TN and Sid and Joyce Matney of McMinnville, TN; paternal grandparents, Sue & Richard Hull of Winchester, TN; sister, Amy Gail (Ronnie) Simmons of McMinnville; step-brothers and step-sisters, Kerie (Joel) Womack of Rock Island, TN, Josh (Nikki) Walling of Bone Cave, TN, Mark Morton, Jennifer Walling, Brent (Khristina) Walling and Mandi (Shane) Snyder all of McMinnville, and special cousins, Chris Cowan, Marty Cowan, Jeni Hardy, Ricky Tipps, David Matney and Jeremy Matney. Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 24, 2012 in High's Chapel with Winston Tipps and Chris Cowan officiating. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of service.
