Ernestina Calderon De Mercado

McMinnville resident and Michoacan, Mexico native, Ernestina Calderon De Mercado, age 47, was born November 22, 1965 and died November 22, 2012 at St. Thomas Hospital following a sudden illness. The daughter of Alidia Zarate of Texas and the late Juan Calderon, she was the owner of Lupitas Restaurant. She was married to Armando Mercado of McMinnville who survives. In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by three children, Diego Mercado, Brenda Mercado and Erick Mercado all of McMinnville; six grandchildren, Armando Belloso, Citlaley Alamilla, Faviola Mercado, Yaretzi Mercado, Diego JR Mercado and Javier Mercado, and a grandson on the way; and ten brothers and sisters, Esperanza, Ofelia, Monica, Eva, Mariana, Angela, Angelina, Rodolfo, Juvenal and Adrian Calderon. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, November 24, 2012 in High's Parlor. There will be no service.
