Virginia Lyle Pearsall

McMinnville resident and Warren County, TN native, Virginia Lyle Pearsall, age 83, was born February 21, 1929 and died December 18, 2012 at River Park Hospital following a three-month illness. A homemaker and a member of Fall City Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Lyle Jackson and Maggie Lorena Delong Cotten. She was married to Floyd Austin Pearsall who preceded her in death January 6, 1993. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by son, Jerry Pearsall; sister, Gail Elrod; and brother, Ralph Cotten. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Patsy and Faron Green of McMinnville; three grandchildren and spouses, Kassie and Jared Lentz of McMinnville, Drew and Bethany Green of Lebanon, TN, and Austin Green of McMinnville; two great-grandchildren, Alexia Lentz and Kali Lentz; one sister, Elinor Biles of McMinnville; daughter-in-law, Susan Pearsall of McMinnville; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Doug Elrod, Reba Reynolds, Louise Pearsall and Ruth Martin all of McMinnville, and Norman and Jean Pearsall of Nashville, TN; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be held Thursday, December 20, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in High's Chapel with Tyree Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Old Bybee Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and from 10:00 a.m. until time of service Thursday at High's.
