David John Martin

Rock Island, TN resident and Flint, MI native David John Martin, age 52, was born January 22, 1960 and died December 29, 2012 at River Park Hospital following a sudden illness. An employee of Yorozu, he was the son of the late John Elijah and Ethel Rose Borad Martin. He is survived by his special significant friend, Helen Martin of Rock Island, TN; special children, Brandon Martin of Rock Island, TN and Euqeka and Lenny Lusk of Morrison, TN; special grandchildren, Cameron, Arianna, LaBraya, Caleb, Caden and Trelyn; brother, Brian Martin of Holly Pond, AL; sister, Sharon Wrisner of Fairview, AL; and special niece, Tara Martin of Holly Pond, AL. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 1, 2013 in High's Chapel with Michael Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery @ Martin Charge. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monday and 9:00 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at High's.
