McMinnville resident and Warren County native Emma Jean St. John, age 83, was born February 24, 1929 and died January 5, 2013 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness. A homemaker and member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late John and Willie Morton Bouldin. She was married to Woodrow Wilson St. John who preceded her in death October 24, 2012. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, W.T., John and Gordan Bouldin; three sisters, Audrey Hudson, Gladys Burch and Carrie Brown and son-in-law, Lanny Elkins. She is survived by four children and their spouses, Kathy Elkins of Paris, TN, Randall and Donna St. John and June and Patrick McCormick both of McMinnville and Clifford and Drena St. John of Vero Beach, FL; ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and sister, Norma Bouldin of McMinnville. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 8, 2013 in High's Chapel with Hershell Short officiating. Burial will follow in the Armstrong Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday and 9:00 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at High's.
