Buford Allen Tucker

McMinnville resident and Rutherford County, TN native Buford Allen Tucker, age 71, was born August 1, 1941 and died January 17, 2013 at his residence following a sudden illness. A truck driver with Reliable Carriers, a United States Air Force veteran and a member of the Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Buford O. and Mamie Ruth Neal Tucker. He was married to Alma Jean Jozwiak Tucker who preceded him in death. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one brother, Lee Tucker; and three sisters, Ola Mae Climer, Bernice Stacey and Mattie Ruth Alsup. He is survived by three children and spouses, Sandra and Dale Collins of Weeki Wachee, FL, Pamela Tucker of McMinnville and Teresa and John Jessick of Valencia, CA; four grandchildren, Brandon Harwell of Elora, TN, Christian Jevons of McMinnville and Ashley and Alexandria Dennison both of Valencia, CA; two great-grandchildren, Trinity and Caleb Harwell; and one sister, Kathleen Douglas of Christiana, TN. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 22, 2013 in High's Chapel with Greg Rains officiating. Burial will follow in Center Hill Cemetery @ Hills Creek with full military honors administered by VFW Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monday and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday at High's.
