Ralph Broadrick, Jr.

McMinnville resident and Coffee County, TN native Ralph Broadrick, Jr., age 74, was born January 6, 1939 and died January 18, 2013 at his residence. He was a retired funeral director with High Funeral Home, where he was employed for forty-two years. He was President of Newtown CIC for seventeen years and President of CIC's Council from 1991-1995. He was a member of the Baptist Church. He was the son of the late Ralph and Elsie E. Garner Broadrick, Sr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Lillian Hogan; and son-in-law, Craig Templeton. He was married December 24, 1959 to Lillian Ferrell Broadrick of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Matthew Broadrick of McMinnville; two daughters, Patricia Diane Templeton and Dawn Alsup both of McMinnville; one granddaughter, Kayla Broadrick of Manchester, TN; five brothers and sisters-in-law, Ben and Phyllis Broadrick of Waller, TX, Leonard and Patsy Broadrick of Houston, TX, Sammy and Carol Broadrick of Houston, TX, Harvey and Nancy Broadrick of Tullahoma, TN and Larry and Phyllis Broadrick of Tullahoma, TN; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Edna Moore and Betty Jo Parris both of Tullahoma, TN, Helen and Joe Mangrum of Spring, TX and Nellie and Don Inglish of Manchester, TN; four brothers-in-law, David Ferrell of Manchester, TN, Tommy Ferrell of Milan, IL, Preston Brown and wife Patsy of Chattanooga, TN and Arthur Hogan of Antioch, CA; and a host of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 21, 2013 in High's Chapel with Preston Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery, Coffee County, TN. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service Monday at High's. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Warren County Relay For Life or Meals on Wheels.
