Florence Grace Stiles

McMinnville resident and Gurley, AL native Florence Grace Stiles, age 93, was born March 19, 1919 and died February 10, 2013 at River Park Hospital following a short illness. A retired employee of Rockford Textile and member of the Mt. Leo Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Nannie Winkles Farmer. She was married to Herman Stiles who preceded her in death. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by son, Roy Farmer; four brothers, Tom, Jim, Frank and Buddy Farmer and sister, Ethel Graham. Mrs. Stiles is survived by one daughter-in-law, Judy Vaughn of Crawford, TN; two grandsons, Darryl Farmer and Roger Farmer both of McMinnville; sister, Bessie Pepper of Florida; special nephew, Tommy Farmer of Michigan and special niece, Pam Graham Basham of McMinnville. Other special nieces, nephews and special granddaughter-in-law also survive. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2013 in High's Chapel with Lane Dix officiating. Burial will follow in the Shellsford Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and 12:00 p.m. until time of service Wednesday at High's.
