Carl Thompson, Jr.

Hopkinsville, KY resident and Baltimore, MD native Carl Thompson, Jr., age 46, was born April 13, 1966 and died February 18, 2013 at Jenny Lynn Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, KY following an extended illness. He was the son of Carolyn Preslar of McMinnville and the late Carl Thompson, Sr. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by uncles, Gary and Jack Southard; and aunt, Marilyn Southard. In addition to his mother, he is survived by one brother, William Kenneth Collins of McMinnville; one sister, Tamara Renee Collins of Cleveland, OH; aunts and uncles, Ronnie and Eileen Southard of McMinnville, Freeland Southard of Madison, OH, Debbie and Todd Calvert of Madison, OH and Pam and Leslie Mitchell of McMinnville; and several nieces and nephews also survive. A graveside service and interment will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, February 21, 2013 in Mt. Zion Cemetery with Dean Northcutt officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Thursday at High's. Donations may be made to the family c/o High Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
