David Pernell Roberts

McMinnville resident and Grundy County, TN native David Pernell Roberts, age 34, was born January 21, 1979 and died February 18, 2013 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center following a sudden illness. An employee of Pro Pack, he was the son of Evelyn King Roberts of the Tarlton Community and the late Charles Winford Roberts, Sr. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one sister, Julia Mae Roberts. In addition to his mother, he is survived by three sisters and brothers-in-law, Lillian and Tommy Ferrell and Charlotte Roberts all of the Tarlton Community, and Delcie and Jerry Ferrell of Smithville, TN; one brother, Charles Winford Roberts, Jr. of the Tarlton Community; two nieces, Deanna Ferrell and Carolyn Johnson and husband Derek all of the Tarlton Community; nephew, Ben Ferrell and wife Samantha of Rock Island, TN; and great-niece, Kirra Ferrell of Rock Island, TN. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 21, 2013 in High's Chapel. Burial will follow in King Cemetery, Grundy County, TN. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Thursday at High's.
