Hugh Patrick

Grand Rapids, MI resident (formerly of McMinnville) and Hazard, KY native Hugh Patrick, age 89, was born March 29, 1923 and died February 25, 2013 in Grand Rapids, MI following a short illness. A retired steel mill employee in Detroit, MI and United States Army veteran of WWII, he was the son of the late Cornelius and Elizabeth Patrick. Mr. Patrick was an engineer in the Army having served in the European Theater of WWII. He was married to Jo Nevolyn Johnson Patrick who preceded him in death. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Marcia Patrick. He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Dr. David and Olga Patrick of Ada, MI; three granddaughters, Michaeia, Caitlyn and Ariel and one sister who resides in Kentucky. A graveside service and interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 1, 2013 at Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Friday at High's.
