Henry David Wagoner, Jr.

McMinnville resident and Davidson County, TN native Henry David Wagoner, Jr., age 62, was born December 17, 1950 and died March 1, 2013 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness. A retired employee of Rockford Textiles and the State of Tennessee Highway Department, he was the son of the late Henry David and Florence Hornburger Wagoner, Sr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Joyce Marie Petty and Barbara Gail Wagoner. He was married to Barbara Mayfield Wagoner of McMinnville. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Roger David Wagoner of McMinnville and Steven Wayne Mayfield and wife Denise of Rock Island, TN; granddaughter, Brittany Marie Mayfield of Rock Island, TN; mother-in-law, Dorothy Mayfield of Rock Island, TN; nephews, Ryan Rule of Texas, Phillip Boyd of Dayton, OH and Michael Boyd of Rock Island, TN; sister-in-law, Lisa Boyd of Rock Island, TN; great-niece, Brianna Rule of Texas and several cousins also survive. A graveside service and interment will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at Crain Hill Cemetery in Van Buren County, TN with Jason Gann officiating. Family and friends will meet at Crain Hill Cemetery for the graveside. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
