Martha Sue Drake Cantrell

McMinnville resident and Warren County, TN native Martha Sue Drake Cantrell, age 75, was born December 4, 1937 and died March 4, 2013 at her residence following a sudden illness. A homemaker and a member of Salem Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late William Bill and Bessie Rigsby Drake. She was married to Wallon Cantrell who preceded her in death March 10, 2011. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two great-grandchildren, Mylie Beth and Raylon Cantrell; three brothers, W.B., John and George Drake; one sister, Barbara Ann Drake; sister-in-law, Frances Drake; and brother-in-law, Willard Cantrell. She is survived by four children, Michael Cantrell and wife Pam, Rickey Cantrell, Lisa Cantrell Foster and Melody Cantrell Perez all of McMinnville; thirteen grandchildren, Michael Burks, Cristy Brady, Crystal Cantrell, Casey Cantrell, Travis Cantrell, Trent Cantrell, Rickey Cantrell, Jr., Jasper Cantrell, Christopher Foster, Leila Foster, Britton Cantrell, Anah Perez and Shelby Elkins; fourteen great-grandchildren; three sisters, Jean Cantrell and husband Larkin, Billie Coppinger and Wanda Drake all of McMinnville; one brother, Harold Drake of McMinnville; brother-in-law, Hansel Cantrell of McMinnville; sisters-in-law, Yvonne Drake and Joyce Drake both of McMinnville and Ova Lee Drake of Indiana; and several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2013 in High's Chapel with Albert Cantrell officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Friday at High's.
