Ralph Earl Gross

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Ralph Earl Gross, age 87, was born February 2, 1926 and died March 6, 2013 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN following a sudden illness. A farmer and member of the Church of Christ, he was the son of the late Willie and Rosa Lee Hobbs Gross. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Denton and Waymon Gross and two sisters, Mildred Oneal and Emma Jean Barker. He was married January 26, 1946 to Rebecca Hobbs Gross of the Northcutt Cove Community. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Winton and Addie Gross of Crossville, TN; sister and brother-in-law, Jo Ruth and Johnny Northcutt of Arizona; special nieces and nephews, Melody Lovell, Jim Lovell and Natalie Lovell all of the Northcutt Cove Community, Cindy and Phillip Bacon of Chattanooga, TN and Carolyn Joan Braswell of the Blues Hill Community and several other nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 10, 2013 in High's Chapel with Wayne Cantrell, R.S. Rigney, John Sommers and Chris Perry officiating. Burial will follow in the Hebron Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Saturday and 10:00 a.m. until time of service Sunday at High's.
