Gwendolyn Sue Wright

Gwendolyn Sue Wright, 51, a McMinnville, TN resident and Duluth, GA native was born January 9, 1962 and died March 29, 2013 at her home with loved ones following an illness of nine months. A homemaker and a member of the Eastside Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late, Jimmy and Shirley McAfee Barnes. She was married April 16, 1994 to Kenneth Larry Wright who survives. In addition to her husband she is survived by children, David Dewayne Anderson, Nashville, TN; James (Kim) D. Anderson, Jr., Rock Island, TN; Sabrina (Chris) Wanamaker, McMinnville, TN; Justin (Amber) Anderson, McMinnville, TN; seven grandchildren, David, Evan, Lily, Chloe, Elijah, Paisley and Baby Anderson; three sisters, Jimmy Lou (Terry) Weaver, Marie Tatum and Sherry Brown all of Manchester, TN; two brothers, Jim Barnes and George Barnes of Georgia; special friends and family, Ron Black, Lorna Gayle Kester, Bonnie & Greg Deel and Linda & Harold Wright. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 1, 2013 in High's Chapel with Wayne Hopkins to officiate. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12 (NOON) until 9:00 p.m. Sunday and from 8:00 a.m. until time of service on Monday.
