McMinnville resident and Warren County native Geraldine Scott King, age 71, was born March 20, 1942 and died April 14, 2013 at her residence following a sudden illness. A retired sales associate with Kmart and member of the Arlington Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Erby Sedberry and Maude Marie Martin Scott. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Antonia "Tony" Scott. She was married to Ned King of McMinnville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Patricia (David) Dickson of Memphis, TN and Deborah Dillard and Lisa King both of McMinnville; son, Ned King, III of McMinnville; brother, George Edward (Debra) Scott of Milwaukee, WI; nephews, Jason Scott of Baltimore, MD, Marlon Scott and Demond Wilder both of Milwaukee, WI and Rodney Scott of Nashville, TN; three grandchildren, Lacreksha Dillard, Stacey Scott and Caspious Dickson and one great-grandchild Amari Martin. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 20, 2013 in High's Chapel with George King, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Gardens of Memory. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Saturday in High's Chapel. She will be deeply missed by her family, in-laws, cousins and friends.
