McMinnville resident and Warren County native Shirley Louise Gann, age 60, was born February 21, 1953 and died April 16, 2013 at Baptist Hospital in Nashville, TN following an extended illness. She was a substitute teacher with the Warren County School System and member of the Campaign Church of Christ. She was a faithful Christian, a devoted wife, the best mother, a wonderful grandmother, and a loving friend to all. She served many years as a Bible Class Teacher for young children and also worked with ladies in Ladies' Day programs. She lived the Words of the Bible, and has now gone to her reward in Paradise. She was the daughter of the late Elmer Lois and Frances McBride Myers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Charles Franklin Gann, Jr. and Blake Christopher Gann. She was married January 17, 1970 to Charles F. Gann of McMinnville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son and fiancee, Jason Gann and Brandi Barnes of McMinnville; daughter and son-in-law, Kristi and Mike Bost of McMinnville; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Mary Myers of McMinnville; four grandchildren, Noah Bost, Katie Bost, Kristin Bost and Karigan Bost and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 20, 2013 at East End Church of Christ with Jason Gann officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Thursday, 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Friday and from 10:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Saturday at High's.
