Willard Ray Scott

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Willard Ray Scott, age 59, was born September 10, 1953 and died April 23, 2013 at River Park Hospital. He was the son of Josephine Scott of McMinnville and the late Thomas F. Scott and attended the Church of God. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son, Jason Daniel Scott. In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son, Steven David Scott of Nashville, TN; two sisters, Wilma C. (Roy) Gibbs and Beverly Joann (Thomas) Dixon both of McMinnville; grandchildren, Cody Scott, Bobby Scott, Kegan Scott and Bently Scott all of Nashville, TN, Andrew Bellman of Nevada and Breona Atchison of Burns, TN; nieces and nephews, Michelle Andres and Allen Gibbs both of McMinnville, Denali (Brandon) Hale of Smyrna, TN and Jerry Dixon of Hawaii; great-nieces and great-nephews, Casey Gibbs, Alexis Bogard, Tori Bogard, Brooke Gibbs and Dakota Gibbs all of McMinnville and many other family members and friends. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Shellsford Cemetery with Michael Rigsby and Danny Hale officiating. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery. There will be no public visitation at the funeral home.
