Cynthia Kaye Jennings

McMinnville resident and Van Buren County, TN native Cynthia Kaye Jennings, age 65, was born April 14, 1948 and died May 12, 2013 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN following an extended illness. A homemaker and a member of the Church of God @ Bethel, she was the daughter of the late Robert Darnbush and Kassie Lee Roberts Darnbush McBride. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by step-father, James Dewey McBride; and daughter, Michell Denise Jennings. She was married to Jerry Wayne Jennings of McMinnville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Allan Jennings of McMinnville; three grandchildren, Brandon Jennings, Tyler Merritt and Tia Merritt; two great-grandchildren, Landon Jennings and Addison Jennings; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ray and Ann Darnbush of McMinnville and James Michael and Debbie McBride of McMinnville; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2013 in High's Chapel with Billy Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at High's.
