Mary Elizabeth Holt

McMinnville resident and Pueblo, CO native Mary Elizabeth Holt, age 90, was born June 8, 1923 and died June 27, 2013 at River Park Hospital following a sudden illness. A homemaker and member of the Grange Hall Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Walter Clifton and Lottie Eva Crouch Brown. She was married to Herbert Lee Holt who preceded her in death. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Lois Nell Dyer; sister, Lucille Caten and brothers, Frank and Clifton Brown. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Eva Lois Holt and Martin and Jackie Holt both of McMinnville; son-in-law, William Dyer of Morrison, TN; sister and brother-in-law, Pearl Catherine and Robert Welmer of Indianapolis, IN; eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, June 30, 2013 in High's Chapel with Doris Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in the Grange Hall Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Saturday and 9:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Sunday at High's.
