Mildred Inez Glenn

McMinnville, TN resident and DeKalb County, TN native Mildred Inez Glenn, age 90, was born October 20, 1922 and died June 28, 2013 at her residence following an extended illness. Retired from Gribble's Meat Processing and a member of the Church of Christ at Bybee Branch, she was the daughter of the late Dewey and Sertie Ray Gribble. She was married November 10, 1945 to Leonard Woodrow Glenn who preceded her in death November 11, 2006. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Eugene and J.B. Gribble. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Dwight Barrett of McMinnville; two granddaughters, Courtney Barrett of Gallatin, TN and Lyndsey Bouldin and husband Tyler of McMinnville; step-grandson, Jason Barrett of Nashville, TN; two sisters-in-law, Christine Gribble and Delores Glenn both of McMinnville; brother-in-law, Harold Glenn of McMinnville; and several nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 1, 2013 in High's Chapel with Tony Lawrence officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Sunday and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Monday at High's. Memorial contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels.
