Iva Irene Dodson

McMinnville, TN resident and Kokomo, IN native Iva Irene Dodson, age 70, was born November 20, 1942 and died July 9, 2013 at her residence following a brief illness. A retired nurses aid at Raintree Manor and a member of the Pentecostal Church, she was the daughter of the late Millard Reese and Catherine Morgan Smith. She was married to Kenneth Edward Dodson who preceded her in death 1989. She is survived by son Kenneth (Terry) Dodson of the Dibrell Community; daughter, Holly (Wayne) Davis of McMinnville; three grandchildren, Kenneth Dodson and Justin Dodson both of the Dibrell Community and Morgan Davis of McMinnville; brother, David Reese of Florida; sister, Sandy McKenny of Bone Cave, TN; and special friend and caregiver, Debbie Elkins. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 11, 2013 in High's Chapel with Jason Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Thursday at High's.
