Ethel Marie Grover

McMinnville, TN resident and Sanford, MI native Ethel Marie Grover, age 91, was born September 15, 1921 and died July 9, 2013 at her residence following an extended illness. A retired beautician and a member of Christ United Methodist Church, she was the daughter of the late John Lewis and Abbie Lewis Baker. She was married to Thurlow Grover who preceded her in death. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Judith A. Feley; and two brothers, Raymond and Gerald Baker. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Joan Ann and Michael Arnold of McMinnville; six grandchildren and their spouses, Michael R. and Susan Arnold of Amo, IN, David B. and Kristin Arnold of Whitestown, IN, Michelle M. and Michael Guard of St. Cloud, FL, Brian Feley of Flint, MI, Angela and Trapper Merz of Traverse City, IN and Andra Feley of Honolulu, HI; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Mildred Skinner of Holland, MI; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Jim and Theresa Pickett of McMinnville. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 11, 2013 in High's Chapel with James Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday and from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service Thursday at High's. Memorial contributions may be made to the Warren County Senior Center.
