Mildred Leona Jones

McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native Mildred Leona Jones, age 82, was born September 29, 1930 and died July 21, 2013 at Raintree Manor following an extended illness. A retired CNA and caregiver, she was the daughter of the late Jewell Lee and Mary Delma Wright Dodd. She was married September 26, 1947 to Johnny Elmer Jones who preceded her in death December 31, 1982. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by son, Ricky Lee Jones; two daughters, Myra Faye Morgan and Sharon Lorance; and sister, Clarene Bounds. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Terry Dewayne and Julie Jones of McMinnville; seven grandchildren, Peyton Pearson Jones, Katrina Allen, Stacey Swann, Steve Morgan, Scottie Morgan, Eric Lorance and Angela Lorance; several great-grandchildren; three sisters, Iona Williamson and Betty Neely both of McMinnville and Wilma Hillis of the Rocky River Community; brother, Jimmy Dodd of McMinnville; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 25, 2013 in High's Chapel with James Wright officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service Thursday at High's.
