Patricia Joy Jones

McMinnville, TN resident and Davidson County, TN native Patricia Joy Jones, age 57, was born September 13, 1955 and died July 29, 2013 at her residence following an extended illness. A homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of Dorothy Lucille Allen of Nashville, TN and the late Buddy Allen. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by grandson, Jacob Jones; sister, Hydee; and brother, Leonard Allen. She was married to Bennie Jones of McMinnville. In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by three children, Jeremy Jones and Troy Jones both of McMinnville and Misty Roberts of Springfield, TN; four grandchildren; two sisters, Judy Kay and Elaine; brother, Michael Allen of Nashville, TN; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2013 in High's Chapel with Bro. Robert Burns officiating. Burial will follow in Anderson Cemetery, White County, TN. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at High's.
