Michael Anthony Lancaster

Bruceton, TN resident and Jackson, TN native Michael Anthony "Tony" Lancaster, age 66, was born November 21, 1946 and died July 31, 2013 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntington, TN following a brief illness. A city recorder for twenty-four years with the town of Bruceton and a member of Bascom First United Methodist Church, he was the son of the late John William and Willie Margaret Baker Lancaster. He was married to Edith Irene Marcrom Lancaster of Bruceton, TN. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Gretchen Lancaster of Pleasant View, TN; son, Will (Katherine) Lancaster of Camden, TN; two grandsons, Caden Anthony Lancaster and Michael Keith Lancaster; sister, Barbara Boysen of Cobden, IL; and sister-in-law, Martha Marcrom of Morrison, TN. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Bruceton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Noel Edwards and Bro. Scotty Davis officiating. Burial will follow at 4:00 p.m. in Bascom Cemetery. Bruceton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
