Sandra Jean Markum

McMinnville, TN resident and Cheboygan, MI native Sandra Jean Markum, age 55, was born April 12, 1958 and died July 28, 2013 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness. A retired dietary aide with River Park Hospital and a member of First Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Raymond James and Bessie Belle Hillis Russell. She is survived by a son, Chad Allen Russell of Houston, TX; daughter, Marcy Thomas of Madison, TN; two grandchildren; two sisters, Lillian Delp of Idaho and Saralee Riddle of Michigan; brother, Jim Russell of Michigan; several nieces and nephews; former husband, Wayne Markum of McMinnville; step-son, Jonathan Markum of McMinnville; and special friends, Rita Kesey, Tony and Becky Smith and Morris and Scarlett Griffith all of McMinnville. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Hope Full Gospel Church or Helping Hands Ministry.
