Mary Darlene Christian

McMinnville, TN resident and Rutherford County, TN native Mary Darlene Christian, age 41, was born September 5, 1971 and died August 5, 2013 at NHC Healthcare Center in McMinnville following an extended illness. A member of the Cumberland Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Thurman and Alice Marie Ward Christian. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by grandmother, Wilma Jean Ward; and uncle, Murrell Ward. She is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Becky and Eddie White of McMinnville; niece and nephews, Alice Marie White, Kacey White, Jeffery White and Christian Rader all of McMinnville; grandfather, Thurman Paul Ward of McMinnville; and aunts and uncles, Linda and Tommy Thompson, David Ward, and Edward Ward all of McMinnville, Jim Ward of Florida, Tim Ward, Brenda Henderson and Kenneth Ward all of Rock Island, TN, Lynn Ward of Pikeville, TN, Michael Ward of Smithville, TN and Martha Braswell of Carthage, TN. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 8, 2013 in High's Chapel with Dennis Deweese officiating. Burial will follow in Center Hill Cemetery at Hills Creek. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service Thursday at High's. Memorial donations may be made to NHC Healthcare of McMinnville.
