Mary Belle Atnip Moore

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Mary Belle Atnip Moore, age 89, was born February 15, 1924 and died August 19, 2013 at Belvedere Commons of Franklin, TN following an extended illness. A retired employee of NHC Healthcare in the dietary department, she was the daughter of the late Ephriam and Rebecca Norris Atnip. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Robert, Jim, George and E.L. Atnip, Jr.; and two sisters, Tennie Womack and Ollie Mae Atnip. Mrs. Moore is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Pam Moore of Cleveland, TN; two daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda Joyce and Jerry May of Melbourne, FL and Debbie and Pete Gage of Franklin, TN; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service and interment will be held at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at Faulkner Cemetery @ Pike Hill with Tommy Lusk officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Warren County Rescue Squad Toy Drive c/o High's.
