McMinnville, TN resident and Durand, MI native Lucille Irene McBride, age 84, was born August 5, 1929 and died September 5, 2013 at her residence. Retired from Magnatek and a member of Rolling Acres Brethren in Christ Church, she was the daughter of the late Orval and Iva McCall Dunckley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, Ralph Douglas McBride; brother, Fred Dunckley; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sally and Richard McNamara, June and Harry Piotrowich, Thelma and Hawkin Jenson, Karyl McKennen, and Donna and Jerry Simpson. She was married October 26, 1946 to her husband of sixty-seven years, Lonnie "Bill" McBride of McMinnville. In addition to her husband, she is survived by five daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Danny Tittsworth, Betty and William McCormack, Karyl and Michael Poss and Patricia and David Walker all of McMinnville, and Diana and Gene Jones of Painesville, OH; sons and daughters-in-law, Lonnie and Glenda McBride of McMinnville, Santford "Peanut" and Patsy McBride of McMinnville and Dennis McBride of McMinnville, whom she loved like a son; sister and brother-in-law, Maxine and Frank Motz of Owosso, MI; twenty-four grandchildren and fifty great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, September 7, 2013 in High's Chapel with Tony Smedley and Earnest Weber officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at High's.
